1)Question: Why do most berbers live in africa, is there a specific reason wit the climate and vegetation?

There is no real reason why the Berbers stayed in Africa there could be many reasons why they stayed. I think that a reasonable reason would be because they could live well in the mountains and there was more available to them there than where they once were so they decided to stay then they became sedentary.

2) Question: What made you choode to only specify mostly on the Rif mountains?

I described more about how Berbers were divided in the Rif mountains but I still talked about language in the atlas mountains.

3)Question: What Berber tribe is the most likely to be influenced by the people of Rabat?

There are many tribes that influence others so this is a hard question to answer but I think that larger tribes such the shluh, beraber or imaziren, and riffian Berbers would influence the people of Rabat the most. But I don't think that Berbers have much influence on the people's way of life.

4)Question: What is the most well known Berber tribe that lives in the Rif mt. and why?

During my research I found that Berbers in the Rif mountains are referred to are Rifains and not by the separate tribes in the Rif mountains so there is no way for me to tell you which Tribe is well known.

5)Q: How many popular Berber tribes live in the south, and why are most Berbers in the north?

It is hard to find how many Berber tribes live in a certain area so there is no information and I don't think that it has been done. Most Berbers don't live in the Rif mountains.

Berber Tribes and Location

Berbers are a group of people who live in north eastern Africa and have been there for a long time. Most people who do not live in Africa but know the Berbers might not know that they have more than one type of them. Berbers are spread out and though some might look the same their traditions may differ, that is the easiest way to tell Berbers apart. The Berbers inhabit the Rif mountains which are in northern morocco next to the Mediterranean sea. There are more than one type of Berber in the Rif mountains, there are actually nineteen Berber social unit in the Rif mountains. Some of which include the Rhmara Berbers who live along the Mediterranean Sea and Sanhaja Berbers who live in the southern part of the Rif mountains. Some Riffians may have blue eyes and red hair, unlike the Imaziren Berbers that have wide set eyes, thin noses, and leathery faces. However like Riffian Berbers Shluh Berbers are Muslim. They live in the High and Anti atlas mountains. These Berbers are sedentary and also look different they have slightly slanted eyes and darker skin. They also speak three dialects of Tashilhait. They speak Shelia in the western High Atlas, Darwa spoken in the southern part of the High and Anti Atlas, and Es-susi spoken in the upper Sous area. But not all Berbers live in the atlas mountains like the Zenta Berbers who live in the dessert oases of the western Sahara.

My name is Omar and I come from a place that is called Oman. Although it is an Arabic country I have only lived there for four years. I lived in Korea for seven years and that is where I raised my English fluency. After that I currently live in Morocco where I carry on learning at a international school. The culture that I have adapted from Korea is not to fight in morocco people can be more violent in a safe way. Even though I like Korea and Morocco the same they can be very different. There are many More differences between Korea and morocco even if these differences don't change what people do, they change how people do them.

The Differences Between Korea and Morocco

Korea and Morocco are different in many ways some can be bad some can be good. Korea is very cold during the winter and Morocco is not. I feel Korea has a less open area than Morocco I think it is because of the weather. I also think that it has become habit for me to stay indoors because outside is cold. In Morocco is different because everyone here is sportive. Morocco has a good environment for me to grow and learn. I like the people in morocco they seem more friendly then the people in Korea. One of the many ways the people here are nice is when they let me participate in sports such as basketball and soccer. I think a difference is that it will be easier for me to make friends in Morocco. Because Korea has more people and less space then Morocco, there are more roads, bridges, and tunnels. Also Korea can be safer and more dangerous than Morocco because on normal days there aren’t any robbers but sometimes there are riots, tear gas, and police. I think that I will like it here more than Korea because it is different here.
